Solar Mosaic is one of the largest solar loan originators in the U.S. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau settled a major enforcement action against Mosaic in November 2024, requiring $18M in consumer redress and a $4M civil penalty for deceptive practices including misrepresented payment amounts and undisclosed fees. A nationwide TILA class action is currently pursuing similar dealer-fee allegations.
